Salon policies
Please take a moment to read our salon policies, particularly if it is your first visit to the salon.  Whilst most of our policies are similar accros the industry it is helpful to familiarise yourself.
Age restrictions
Minors from the age of 13 can be treated only with a parent or guardian present in the treatment room and signed parental consent.
 
There can be exceptions to this rule but this is in situations where there is a presenting medical condition, such as hyperhirsutism, is present and appropriate consultations and consent obtained.
Allergies
Please disclose all allergies during your registration consultation.
 
We are unable to cater for anyone with an extreme nut allergy as we have nut oil in the building.
 
 
 
Behaviour policy
All employees of La Belle Jolie have the right to work without the fear of abuse, assault, insult, intimidation, humiliation, deception, manipulation or any behaviour deemed inappropriate. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services without notice and at any time, either prior to, during or post treatment.
 
Any violence or abuse directed at our staff will result in matters being followed up with the police.
Cancellation policy
Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you, therefore we ask that you give a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel your appointment.
 
A 50% cancellation fee is charged if your appointment is cancelled within 24 hours and we are unable to fill the appointment.
 
Missed appointments are charged at the full treatment price. If you are paying with a pre-paid course or gift voucher the fee will be deducted from the voucher.
Children and babies
As a courtesy to other clients and for safety reasons, we are unable to allow children to accompany parents or guardians into the treatment rooms and garden or to wait in the reception area.
 
We understand that this can be very upsetting for some people but due to the nature of the work carried out and equipment used it is not a safe environment for children.
Contra-indications
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or disorders, or are using/taking any form of prescription medication or ointment. Please inform the receptionist at the point of booking.

Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of your appointment and a late cancellation charge.
Deposits
All new clients are required to pay a 50% deposit for their first booking.
 
All spa days, group bookings and bookings of 2 hours or more require a 50% deposit.
 
Please note our cancellation policy applies.
 
 
Courses
Courses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable. As with all appointments, our cancellation and missed appointments policy applies to treatments booked on a pre-paid course.
 
Courses are subject to cancellation with immediate if our Behaviour Policy is infringed.
 
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for a term of 6 months from the date of purchase. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
 
 
 
 
Late arrival
Late arrival for your appointment may result in loss of treatment time but will be charged at the full rate or in cases where it is no longer possible to carry out the treatment in the time left, cancellation (please see cancellation policy above).
Payment
Payments can be made by paypal for online bookings and debit, credit card or cash, we do not accept cheques.
Prices
All prices are correct at the time of print and are subject to alteration without prior notice.
